Small but with an outstanding presence!

The "Deluxe Tote, Mini" from WORKERS has arrived.

This is a cute, mini version of the Deluxe Tote we introduced previously.

This time, we have it available in three colorways: Dark Navy × Green, Red × Navy, and Green × Navy.

These color schemes have such an authentic, old-school American tote bag vibe.

The inspiration for this project came when the designer at WORKERS heard from an acquaintance that "office workers often carry small bags that can only hold a phone and a wallet when going out for lunch."

Come to think of it, vintage shops back in the day used to casually have small tote bags with color schemes just like this...

However, when you go looking for them now, the vintage ones come with surprisingly steep price tags.

So, we decided to make them ourselves! And that is how this Deluxe Tote, Mini was born.

The size is approximately 18cm wide at the base, 13cm deep, and 16cm high.

The opening is about 25cm wide when laid flat.

It is sized perfectly to fit essentials like a long wallet, smartphone, and keys for a quick outing.

The body uses approximately 19.1oz #6 canvas, and the handles use approximately 10oz #11 canvas.

Even though it's small, it's made with thick, sturdy canvas.

The color-blocked base, with a design that carries from the handles down to the bottom, is a hallmark of classic tote bags.

Although compact, it is built sturdy enough to stand on its own even when empty.

Take it to lunch with just your wallet and smartphone.

Use it as a companion for a stroll.

Or, it would even work well as a sub-bag to carry alongside a larger bag.

Beyond its practicality, the cuteness of this size and color scheme alone is enough to make you want one.

Spiral Note

Even small tote bags have a vintage-inspired reason for being.

The appeal of this Deluxe Tote, Mini lies in its color scheme and size, reminiscent of old American tote bags.

Many canvas totes from the past were not just fashion items like they are today; they were created as practical tools for carrying goods and gear.

Because of this, they were made with durable canvas and kept as structurally simple as possible.

When you view the color blocking as a design born from functional construction, it takes on a whole new level of interest.

For this mini size, we used #6 canvas for the body and #11 canvas for the handles.

Generally, with canvas "numbers" (gou-su), a smaller number indicates a thicker fabric.

In other words, #6 canvas is a very substantial material.

Even for a small bag, we prioritized the durability required to use it as a tool.

Also, the sides of the bag are finished using an overlock stitch.

This is a detail also found on original vintage items.

For the WORKERS TOOL BAG we introduced before, we created the bag's frame by folding the fabric edges and stitching them, but this mini version is stiff enough from the fabric itself to stand up on its own.

We change our production methods according to the size and structure, even for canvas bags.

Enjoying a vintage atmosphere while using it in your daily life without hesitation.

That is the kind of craftsmanship typical of WORKERS, and it is all packed into this little bag.

Trying on at the store

In-store try-ons are offered as a service to customers who are considering purchasing from our store.

Please refrain from trying on items solely for the purpose of size confirmation.

Items such as cut-and-sew garments, which are prone to stretching, cannot be tried on. Exchanges after trying on at home post-purchase are also not accepted.

Please also refrain from trying on belts, as they tend to stretch. For length confirmation, please bring a belt you are currently using.

For leather boots and sandals, try-ons are also offered on the premise of purchase. Please try them on during the final confirmation stage. When trying on, please be careful not to cause wrinkles. Please be sure to bring your own socks.
