A shirt made from plain flannel fabric woven in Niigata Prefecture, a producer of yarn-dyed textiles.

The shirt has a design incorporating workwear elements, with symmetrical flapless pockets and elbow pads. The buttons are white and brown nut buttons with a Samurai logo engraved on them, and the stitching is robust, with triple-stitched wrap seams.

Although it is plain, it is not a simple, single-color flannel.

By using different colored uneven yarns on the front and back, the colors on the front and back are different, creating a complex color palette.

The fabric is woven with thick, uneven yarns, giving it a firm thickness. It is not brushed, making it easy to wear as a jacket in the spring and autumn, and can be used for a long period of time.

Although it has a simple appearance, it is a piece that is packed with attention to detail.
