The body is made of extra-thick jersey. The knitting structure is the same as that of a T-shirt, but by inserting several extra-thick yarns into the knitting needles, it becomes as thick as a low-gauge sweater. In addition, the back of the fabric is brushed to make it even more sweater-like.

I wore it a lot this winter. It's really warm. It's casual like a sweatshirt, but has the feel of a sweater. It has ribs, lots of needles, and a pronounced unevenness.

The more you remove the needles (the more uneven the surface), the better the stretch will be, but the less it will bounce back. Find the right balance by removing the needles.
The Raglan Cotton Sweater has wider sleeves and a looser neck than the RAF Sweater. The pattern was designed with the assumption that a shirt will be worn underneath.

One subtle change this year is that the white thread is not left in its original color, but is first bleached (pure white) and then re-dyed in white. The process is the same as for the other colored threads: "first bleached and then dyed white."

The reason is that previously the body, ribs and off-white fabric were almost the same color, although the thickness of the thread was different, but when you look at this year's samples they are completely different.
Supply chains around the world are messed up, and even if we order yarn of the same standard, it won't be the same, so we take the time to maintain quality. For products that use unbleached yarn, we always make new samples. This is because the quality of the yarn varies from year to year, as in this case.

Even with such materials, the unit price increases and it takes more work...I apologize for the gradual increase in prices.

The product has been overhauled.

The above is reprinted from the WORKERS website.

It's re-dyed white, but it's a natural white.
In recent years, we have had many warm winters, so cotton sweaters of this thickness will likely be worn a lot.
