RAF PARKA, Heavy Ventile, Dark Brown
Material: 6.4 oz. 100% cotton/Ventile Accessories: WALDES automatic zipper Sewing: Polyester spun yarn

The RAF Parka is back after a long time. This parka features pockets found in vintage RAF (Royal Air Force) clothing and a diagonal offset design on the front.

Changes for this season. First, the silhouette. Looking back, the previous hoodie was a little tight. We changed it to a slightly looser fit that is now required, with a body width of 60 cm as the standard for M size.

The specifications of the waist pocket have been completely redesigned. Hand warmers can be inserted from the side, and items can be inserted from the top, creating a three-dimensional double structure. It is easy to insert thick items, and it stands out, so it also serves as a design accent.

The cuff tab, which is necessary for adjusting the size, has been shortened as much as possible and positioned as close to the cuff as possible. If it was longer, there would be a risk of something getting caught in the looped tab.

The material is a thick plain weave Ventile. It has slight water repellency, and as you wear it, the overlapping parts of the fabric turn white and create shadows. It is a material that "grows", which is rare for high-density fabrics.

The body is loose and the armholes are roomy, so it's OK to wear a shirt and a medium-weight sweater underneath. It's not lined, so it might be a little tight to wear a jacket. If it was more roomy, like the Fishtail Parka, it could be a single-layer outerwear, but then it would be too loose to wear over a shirt. The RAF Parka has a silhouette that can be worn in early autumn or early spring, so it's not too roomy and has a moderate fit.

We have done overhaul of the sample, but the product to be delivered will be unwashed.

There is only one change: the tabs on the cuffs will be moved from the palm side to the back of the hand. When wearing the garment, if the adjustment tool is on the palm side, it feels like the tucked cuff fabric is touching the hand.

The above is reprinted from the WORKERS official website.

There is no logo printed on the front, and it looks like a non-branded item, but it is well thought out in terms of functionality and pattern, and you can tell when you wear it. I own three of them, and they are very useful. For fishing, walking, disassembly... You can throw them on quickly and use them as pockets, as wind protection, to hide tatters, to protect from the rain, etc.
The diagonal offset design on the front is the first thing that catches your eye. The three-dimensional pockets are a nice accent to the look, and are of course functionally useful. Making these three-dimensional pockets is a lot of work.

The image shows the product after washing. The product you receive will be unwashed.
