Small but with an outstanding presence!
The "Deluxe Tote, Mini" from WORKERS has arrived.
It is a cute, mini version of the Deluxe Tote we introduced previously.
This time, we have prepared three colors: Dark Navy × Green, Red × Navy, and Green × Navy.
This color scheme has a wonderful atmosphere reminiscent of old American tote bags.
The idea for this project came about when the WORKERS designer heard from an acquaintance that "office workers carry small bags that only fit a phone and a wallet when they go out for lunch."
Come to think of it, back in the day, vintage clothing stores would often have small tote bags with color schemes like this tucked away here and there...
However, when I look for them now, the vintage ones have surprisingly high price tags.
"In that case, let's just make them ourselves!" And so, this Deluxe Tote, Mini was born.
The size is approximately 18cm wide at the base, 13cm deep, and 16cm high.
When laid flat, the opening is about 25cm.
It is the perfect size to hold the essentials for a quick outing: a long wallet, a smartphone, keys, and so on.
The body uses approximately 19.1oz No. 6 canvas, while the handles use approximately 10oz No. 11 canvas.
Even though it’s small, it is made of thick, sturdy canvas.
The color-blocked bottom and the design that carries from the handles to the base are also quintessential features of a classic tote bag.
Despite being compact, it is built sturdily enough to stand on its own even when empty.
Taking just your wallet and smartphone to lunch.
A companion for a stroll.
Or, it would also be great to use as a secondary bag alongside a larger one.
Beyond its practicality, the cuteness of this size and color scheme makes you want one regardless.

Even a small tote bag has a reason for its vintage appeal.
The charm of this Deluxe Tote, Mini lies in its color scheme and sizing, which evoke old American tote bags.
Many canvas totes of the past were not just fashion items like they are today, but were created as practical tools for carrying goods and supplies.
For that reason, they used durable canvas and kept the construction as simple as possible.
Looking at the color blocking as a design born from practical construction gives it another layer of interest.
For this mini size, we use No. 6 canvas for the body and No. 11 canvas for the handles.
With canvas "numbers," generally, the lower the number, the thicker the fabric.
In other words, No. 6 canvas is a very substantial fabric.
Even for a small bag, we prioritize the durability that allows it to be used as a tool.
Additionally, the sides of the bag are finished with an overlock stitch.
This is a specification also seen in the vintage originals.
In the WORKERS TOOL BAG we introduced before, we folded the fabric edges to create the bag’s structural frame, but this mini size is stiff enough to stand on its own due to the weight of the fabric itself.
Even for canvas bags, we change the construction methods to match the size and structure.
Enjoying a vintage atmosphere while being able to use it daily without worry.
That kind of craftsmanship, typical of WORKERS, is packed into this little bag.

In-store try-ons are offered as a service to customers who are considering purchasing from our store.
Please refrain from trying on items solely for the purpose of size confirmation.
Items such as cut-and-sew garments, which are prone to stretching, cannot be tried on. Exchanges after trying on at home post-purchase are also not accepted.
Please also refrain from trying on belts, as they tend to stretch. For length confirmation, please bring a belt you are currently using.
For leather boots and sandals, try-ons are also offered on the premise of purchase. Please try them on during the final confirmation stage. When trying on, please be careful not to cause wrinkles. Please be sure to bring your own socks.
