TCB Jeans standard chino pants.The fabric is quite dense and firm. The luster is subdued, and the slightly rough, dry texture of the cotton gives it a good everyday feel. Recommended for those who prefer a slightly wider silhouette.

□Sewing
Pockets with a 2mm wide double-beaded opening that doesn't close, inspired by vintage 41 Khaki.

The chain stitching on the waistband is sewn in one pass on the top and bottom, which is an interesting detail that differs from civilian workwear.

There is a slight looseness in the fabric on the back of the stitching below the waistband, causing it to flap a bit.
I interpret this as likely being a 'marbelt' specification, a tailoring technique used in suit trousers to prevent shirts from riding up when tucked in.

This helps to understand why they are officially called officer chinos.

*Most of the pockets TCB sews are on jeans. Beaded pockets have more parts and require significantly more effort in the process. While there are machines that automatically sew all beaded pockets, we sew all of them by hand to achieve a slightly uneven, vintage look. Occasionally making different pants makes me acutely aware of how jeans are designed to be easy and quick to sew.

□Fabric
This is a 10oz fabric inspired by Vintage 41 Khaki.
The warp is 38 count yarn plied into a 19 count equivalent.
The weft is 20 count yarn plied into a 10 count equivalent, woven at high density.
The cotton is American cotton.
Chino cloth commonly uses 20 count yarn for both warp and weft,
However, TCB's fabric uses 1 count thicker warp and 10 count thicker weft, suggesting a slightly heavier fabric, but it is very supple and not uncomfortable to wear at all.

□Label
Western Costume, sometimes found in vintage shops, was used for movie costumes.
In anticipation of a longed-for recovery, we are delivering these with a label called "Eastern Costume," based on the imaginary scenario that TCB was chosen as the costume supplier at that time.

□Size
From TCB pants, the waist inner circumference and rise dimensions are similar to the 30's Jeans C.
Same size as 30's Jeans
One size down from 50s Jeans/S40's Jeans
is recommended.
*Jeans stretch about 1-3 inches with wear, so the most accurate way to choose is to measure your waist inner circumference and base your selection on that number.

In-store try-ons are offered as a service to customers who are considering purchasing from our store.

Please refrain from trying on items solely for the purpose of size confirmation.

Items such as cut-and-sew garments, which are prone to stretching, cannot be tried on. Exchanges after trying on at home post-purchase are also not accepted.

Please also refrain from trying on belts, as they tend to stretch. For length confirmation, please bring a belt you are currently using.

For leather boots and sandals, try-ons are also offered on the premise of purchase. Please try them on during the final confirmation stage. When trying on, please be careful not to cause wrinkles. Please be sure to bring your own socks.
