This short-sleeve T-shirt is made from rare "loopwheeled jersey" fabric, a source of pride for Wakayama, renowned worldwide.

The fabric is produced on vintage loopwheel knitting machines, of which only about 200 are currently operating in Wakayama. By knitting at an extremely slow speed, approximately one-twentieth the speed of modern high-speed knitting machines, unnecessary stress is avoided on the yarn, maximizing the inherent softness of the cotton.

The fabric, carefully knitted from thick cotton yarn, is characterized by a substantial, thick feel yet a soft touch. It boasts high elasticity and durability, and the increasing texture with wear is a unique charm of loopwheeled fabric.

The design features a simple crew neck based on vintage military T-shirts. The neckline uses a luxurious jacquard knit vintage neck, individually knitted for each piece, and binder tape is applied to the shoulders to prevent stretching.

The stitching employs expert craftsmanship, including four-needle flat seam stitching and narrow twin-needle stitching. By minimizing irregularities in the seam allowances, comfortable wear is achieved, along with a classic aesthetic.

The silhouette is a regular fit with a moderate amount of room in the body and sleeves. It's a versatile balance that works well on its own or as an inner layer.
