G&F Co.’s “HALF-ZIP SWEATSHIRT” is a collared half-zip sweatshirt made with a tubular loopback body.

The first thing that stands out is the silhouette.

The body is cut short, with a wide ribbed hem and raglan sleeves creating a rounded shape reminiscent of vintage sportswear.

The collar also gives it a completely different character from a standard crewneck sweatshirt.

Wear the zipper open and the collar spreads wide for an almost shirt-like look. Zip it all the way up and it can be worn more like a high neck. Simply adjusting the zipper changes the whole impression.

The fabric is something you notice the moment you touch it: soft, fluffy and almost pillowy brushed-back fleece.

It has a substantial feel, but rather than the firmness of some vintage-style sweatshirts, this fabric is exceptionally soft and comfortable against the body.

Flat-seam construction is used throughout, while the cuffs and hem feature seamless tubular ribbing.

This is INK BLACK.

Rather than a deep solid black, it has a softer, slightly ink-like tone. Combined with the texture of the brushed sweatshirt fabric, it creates a black that doesn’t feel too heavy.

An incredibly versatile color that works with just about anything.

What are a “tubular body” and “tubular ribbing”?

This sweatshirt features a tubular-knit body, with seamless tubular ribbing at the cuffs and hem.

A tubular body is knitted as a continuous tube, eliminating the need for side seams.

While a conventional sweatshirt body is often constructed by sewing the front and back panels together at the sides, tubular construction creates a cleaner finish with fewer seams against the body.

The cuffs and hem follow the same principle. The ribbing is knitted in a tubular form, eliminating the vertical seam normally found where the ends of the rib are joined.

The main seams are also sewn using flat-seam construction.

Rather than stacking bulky seam allowances, the fabric edges are joined with a flatter seam, reducing thickness at the sewn areas. It is a construction method often associated with vintage sweatshirts.

Items such as cut-and-sew garments, which are prone to stretching, cannot be tried on. Exchanges after trying on at home post-purchase are also not accepted.

Please also refrain from trying on belts, as they tend to stretch. For length confirmation, please bring a belt you are currently using.

For leather boots and sandals, try-ons are also offered on the premise of purchase. Please try them on during the final confirmation stage. When trying on, please be careful not to cause wrinkles. Please be sure to bring your own socks.
