Short-sleeved Check Shirt Made of Rare 100% Rayon Ox Weave Fabric

This rayon shirt features a unique ox (duck) weave fabric created on an old-fashioned loom in Nishiwaki, Hyogo Prefecture. Enjoy this rare material in a monochrome ombré pattern.

Manufacturing Equipment: Union Special: This is a very rare rayon fabric with an ox (duck) weave, manufactured on an old-fashioned loom in Nishiwaki, Hyogo. It is a special material created by twisting two regular rayon yarns for the warp and weaving filament rayon for the weft. It is a very unique fabric that combines a semi-dull luster with a firm texture, along with the characteristic drape and crisp feel of rayon.

Even in the apparel world, which seems to be an already saturated industry, there are still untapped areas. Textiles are one of the pioneering works that can be challenged precisely in this era. Not only the development of new chemical fibers such as recent carbon materials and temperature-regulating materials is pioneering; the expansion of how equipment (looms and knitting machines) is used is also broadening the possibilities of traditional materials (cotton, rayon, wool, etc.). It would be a waste if only planners and developers shared the excitement of the birth of old and new materials, inherited from the vintage era, at that very moment. I hope we can all share and enjoy such moments of creation together.

If you think that because it's a rayon shirt, it's thin and light, you'd be quite mistaken. It uses a lot of thread and even feels heavy, but it's refreshing to wear. It also absorbs sweat well, so please wear it frequently.

Trying on at the store

In-store try-ons are offered as a service to customers who are considering purchasing from our store.

Please refrain from trying on items solely for the purpose of size confirmation.

Items such as cut-and-sew garments, which are prone to stretching, cannot be tried on. Exchanges after trying on at home post-purchase are also not accepted.

Please also refrain from trying on belts, as they tend to stretch. For length confirmation, please bring a belt you are currently using.

For leather boots and sandals, try-ons are also offered on the premise of purchase. Please try them on during the final confirmation stage. When trying on, please be careful not to cause wrinkles. Please be sure to bring your own socks.
