FISHERMAN SANDAL

Inspired by the traditional footwear once worn by European fishermen, these fisherman sandals are designed to securely wrap the foot with wide woven leather straps, offering both comfort and stability.

Crafted from a single piece of thick, resilient leather and built on a generously proportioned last, they are designed to be worn comfortably with socks as well. Finished with a durable Vibram® sole, these sandals are built for years of wear.

MATERIAL – SHRINK TEACORE COW

A tea-core vegetable-tanned cowhide that has been thoroughly tumbled to create a soft, full-bodied feel. Its naturally developed grain gives each pair a rich texture that cannot be replicated with embossed leather.

Finished using dye only—without pigments—the leather develops remarkable depth and transparency. Depending on how the light catches it, the warm brown base subtly shows through beneath the black surface. With continued wear, the dyed surface gradually fades, allowing the brown core to emerge and creating a beautiful, natural patina over time.

What Is Tea-Core Leather?

Tea-core leather is made with a brown leather base beneath a black-dyed surface.

As the leather ages through regular wear, the black surface gradually softens and the warm brown core begins to emerge, creating the rich character and patina often associated with vintage leather.
