形は、某アメリカ製の持ち手が革のトートバッグ。
ボディは4号帆布、オンスで言うと20.8オンスもあり、おそらく本家より厚い。
今回は、脇にミミを使わず、あえて互い違いに折った状態で縫う。
これで、脇に骨が入ったような状態になるので、中に何も物が入っていなくても立ちます。
せめて底は厚み軽減で6号帆布をサンプルは使いました。
が、工場見せてもらって「出来そうだな」と欲が出て4号を底にも使ってしまいました。さすがに、余りに縫うのが大変そうなので、身頃4号×底4号はファーストロットだけにする予定です。
テープは大阪のテープ屋さん。以前、バッグを作っていた時に探して探して見つけた、分厚いテープを作られているメーカーさん。色テープは在庫されてないので別注で染めてもらいました。
持ち手は国産サドルレザー。ステッチ+リベット止め。外ポケットは表・裏、両面。
