The fabric of the obi part is Double-width fabric woven on an innovative loom. The main body is made of single-width fabric woven on a shuttle loom.
There is a reason for this - if you were to use the grain of the fabric vertically for the obi, like with the 505, a single width would not be enough.
It's hard to understand, but the way they go to great lengths to reproduce even this detail is typical of TCB.
