This work shirt is made from indigo-dyed rain kasuri flannel check fabric.
It is made of 2/1 twill, typical of flannel, and features the classic dark blue and light blue color scheme, but with a samurai twist.
It is woven using three colors of dyed indigo, light blue, and off-white threads, and the threads are arranged in a way that makes it look like rain is falling.
In addition, this fabric, which combines the flannel weave and sashiko stitching produced on a dobby loom, is made with a thick thread count, but is not woven with high tension, so it is soft and has not been brushed, making it suitable for use over a long season.
The design incorporates work elements, giving the overall silhouette a clean look. Navy lining is used in key areas as an accent.
The buttons are custom-made indigo-dyed nut buttons with a samurai logo engraved on them.
The stitching is robust, with triple-stitched seams at the core.
