① Excellent compatibility between fabric and print
The jersey fabric, made from 16-count single yarn, has large jersey stitches, which can cause rubber prints to crack along the weave. However, with reactive prints, the pigment blends well with the fabric, and the peeling of the print achieves just the right effect.
② Highly elastic fabric that resists losing its shape even after repeated washing
By using UES's original yarn, a blend of desi cotton and organic cotton, we were able to create a highly elastic fabric that leverages the unique properties of desi cotton. Desi cotton, with its thick and short fibers, is difficult to spin on its own. This challenge was overcome by blending it with organic cotton. The exceptional elasticity and tenacity of desi cotton, so much so that it's used as a cushioning material, are evident in the finished product.
③ Original slim-fit silhouette
The tight and short pattern is designed to conform to the body over time with repeated wear and washing. The finished product is put through a commercial tumble dryer, achieving its most shrunken state. Knitted fabric has the characteristic that if the length is pulled, the width narrows, and conversely, if the width is pulled, the length shortens. Areas that feel tight can be stretched to adapt the fabric to the body during wear.
④ Vintage feel through garment dyeing with traditional dyes
We use garment dyeing with relatively less colorfast direct and reactive dyes. We deliberately use fading dyes, considering their compatibility with denim that fades over time. Garment dyeing allows for various color shades. Additionally, bio-processing after dyeing is applied to create even more depth in the fabric's color and texture.
⑤ Binder Neck
The ribbing around the neck is attached with a three-fold binder specification. While T-shirts often wear out due to stretching around the neck, UES T-shirts ensure durability by using a thick rib with a 25mm wide binder neck specification.
