LOOP&WEFT_LRC1107_Shadow Border Oni Kanoko Classic Boat Neck Pullover_Vintage Ivory
A classic boat neck pullover made from shadow border Oni Kanoko fabric.
The fabric is an original shadow border kanoko that is thick and soft and knitted in Wakayama, a region famous for its knitting techniques.
This special thick kanoko known as "Oni Kanoko" is made with a modified kanoko weave using yarn that is about twice as thick as polo shirt kanoko, and has the characteristic of having little skewing and being resistant to deformation. Its unique uneven texture reduces the area that comes into contact with the skin, making it a fabric that is thick but lightweight and comfortable to wear even in warmer seasons, and allows you to experience the unique aged texture of 100% cotton material, making it suitable for long-season wear.
The subtle shadow border pattern is also suitable as an inner layer for outerwear.
The design is based on a 60s pullover, and features elaborate details such as a yoke switching shoulders and neck made of ribbed fabric, creating an atmosphere-filled boat neck pullover. The neck is less open than a normal boat neck, and is constructed with a neckline closer to a crew neck. The sewing is done slowly with two and three needles, with pressed seams for comfort. The silhouette is a basic regular fit with slightly wider shoulders, a moderate amount of room in the body and armholes, and ease of use and comfort.
We hope you enjoy the texture of our original shadow border twill and the careful attention to detail that has gone into making it.
