Side-gore boots were created for the Queen of England.
Later, due to its ease of attachment and removal, it began to be used in the military as well.
The rubber part is shallow and smart, and the upper is rounded to give it a feminine look.
I would like strong women (women who want to be strong) to wear these, like Matilda in my favorite movie, LEON!
I want to create an item that will lift your spirits when you wear it, something that will give you energy when you wear it.
With this in mind, we named it MATHILDA.
It's a simple product so it's easy to use.
The leather used is original calf leather "Dutch tarwe calf" tanned in Himeji.
They are soft and elastic, and have a sophisticated sheen. As you wear them, you will notice them conforming to the shape of your feet.
With a simple side gore design, the choice of leather is extremely important.
We have created shoes that you will grow to love more and more with each wear, and that you will want to make use of.

This season, we have developed a new leather in the hopes that you will be able to experience the joy and depth of leather's natural aging process.
This is original calf leather tanned in Himeji, a traditional Japanese leather production area.
The raw leather is made from high-quality calf leather from the Netherlands and is tanned using the traditional tannin tanning method.
We are particular about the raw hides, of course, but we also focus more on the tanning (leather making) method and dyeing method.
Normally, the pigment finish of chrome tanning is a uniform finish, and the surface of the leather is stable, but it is slightly inferior in terms of aging.
On the other hand, tannin tanning has the characteristic that the ingredients react and the leather becomes more glossy and wrinkled over time.
Due to its nature, tannin-tanned leather tends to become a little hard, but here, the tanners (leather factory) have used their many years of experience and water to create flexible tannin-tanned leather.
This wild leather is very rare to be used for women's shoe leather.
In addition, to prevent the leather from aging with use, the surface is finished using only dye, which allows the cream to penetrate well and the wood will darken with care, resulting in a beautiful appearance.
Although the tanning method is time-consuming, we decided to produce calf leather because we wanted people to enjoy the changes that occur in the leather.
At La Poche, it is used by ANNE and MATHILDA.

The first LA POCHE boots I ever wore were the "MATHILDA"
It seems like just yesterday that I tried them on at the official store in Asakusa, and made a big fuss about how I've never worn boots like these before and how they're so comfortable! I wore them right back home.
Since then, I've been wearing them almost every day. (I know it's not good for my shoes.) I know it's bad, but I still wear them.
I usually wear regular straight jeans, so I like to wear them with the jeans rolled up a little higher.
MATHILDA is as comfortable as sneakers
Please give it a try even if you think you might be fooled.
