The idea came from the linen shirt I happened to be wearing when I took my blood pressure in the morning. When I took it off, I would unbutton the top two or three buttons and put it on like a pullover. Pullovers = bothersome. But this one is wide open, roomy, and has shirring on the yoke, so it's easy to put on and take off. It's not bothersome at all.
In cold weather, it is invincible when worn over a medium-weight sweater. When it gets warm, wear it over a T-shirt. In hot weather, wear it alone with the hem out for good ventilation and coolness. It is surprisingly useful, so please give it a try.
