イタリアの伝統的なハンドメイドサンダルから着想を得て製作された、BROTHER BRIDGEのレザーサンダル「LUCCA」。
無駄な装飾を省いたシンプルなデザインは、流行に左右されることなく、何年先も履き続けられる一足です。
アッパーには、イタリア・トスカーナの老舗タンナー Virgilio Conceria Artigiana が手掛ける『MARGOT（マルゴー）』レザーを採用。
植物タンニンでじっくりと鞣し、オイルをたっぷり含ませたショルダーレザーにスクラッチ加工を施すことで、独特のマットな質感と深みのある表情を生み出しています。
履き始めは落ち着いた印象ですが、使い込むほどに摩擦によって艶が現れ、色味にも深みが増していきます。
サンダルでありながら、革靴を育てるような経年変化を楽しめるのも、このモデルならではの魅力です。
アウトソールはしっかりと縫い上げられ、ヒールは交換可能な仕様。
修理を前提に設計されているため、一夏だけでは終わらず、何年、何十年と付き合っていける一足です。
デニムや軍パンはもちろん、リネントラウザーやショーツとの相性も抜群。
