The TCB jeans 60's were created with the early 66 in mind.
They feature a pure blue color, distinct slub, and fuzziness that differ from XX.
The fabric used here is made from approximately 13oz San Joaquin cotton.
San Joaquin cotton is grown in the southern part of California's vast Central Valley, a large agricultural area in the middle of California.
This agricultural land was formed by meltwater from the surrounding mountain ranges, and the cotton is grown using groundwater sourced from this meltwater.
They have a clean, tapered silhouette towards the hem.
All sewing uses 20-count core spun thread.
The paper patch is hand-processed, similar to the TCB jeans 50's.
The idea is that when the base color fades, the paper tears, revealing a darker fabric underneath.
The TCB jeans 60's are not one-piece but an afterthought design, so to recreate the vintage feel, the patch is sewn slightly further in than on the TCB jeans 50's, which results in a perfect rounded patch after one wash.
These jeans have many highlights, such as varying stitch widths depending on the sewing area and adjustments/modifications to the sewing machine.
