The image we sampled this time is probably from the late WWII period, when wartime restrictions continued, material shortages became severe, and the use of different materials for pocket fabric had to be accepted. Sewing technicians were likely taken for military uniform production, and inexperienced people probably did the sewing.
Flannel

We created an original flannel fabric based on the flannel used in vintage pocket bags.
Based on our analysis, it is woven in Nishiwaki City, Hyogo Prefecture, using 14 count warp and 14 count weft with left-hand twill.
Since vintage colors are quite faded, TCB also employs a dyeing method that allows for fading. When the jeans' fading is complete, the pink and green colors will also have faded.
Vintage flannel appeared brushed, but it felt more like aging than a fabric treatment, so TCB does not apply brushing. Instead, we create it with the image of it gradually becoming fuzzy with age.
Back Pocket

Back pocket stitching. It went one stitch too far, so it went back one stitch and restarted.
Crotch Sewing

The crotch also shows parts where it tried to go back once and then moved forward again. We understand how, when sewing a large quantity, one might wonder, "What was the right way again?"
Back York Lap Seam

Vintage back yokes are significantly misaligned, so TCB intentionally sews them without matching.
Overlocking
Overlock stitching at the fabric edge.
The triangular stitching is cute.
Concealed Bar tack

This is around the hidden rivet of the back pocket. Normally, the arrowed part is bar-tacked to temporarily fix the pocket before riveting, and then the back pocket is continued. However, on this particular item, the temporary fixation is done with a flat machine instead of a bar tack. Perhaps it saved the trouble of moving to a bar tack machine, or it was just too much of a hassle to move.
Actually, a hidden bar tack is more important than a hidden rivet in terms of pocket strength, but this is another irregular detail typical of the war era.
Donut Button

The buttons are iron, two-pronged donut buttons. They develop a nice texture when they rust.
Belt Loops

The belt loops are 1.5cm wide with 7/32 inch narrow stitching.
Excerpts from TCB official
Late WWII model created in homage to vintage designs. It would be fun to wear them in and make them look like real vintage jeans!
Although it's listed as 13.5oz, the stiff texture provides plenty of wear. We anticipate some nice fading.
The red tab has been changed to an indigo tab.
