This year, the border fabric has been made slightly thinner.
Last year was about 9 oz., while this year is about 6 oz.

The yarn used for knitting is the same, but for the knitting needles, until last year, "pulling together = two threads at once" was used, but this year the fabric is made with a single thread.

Last year, TCB's special order was made with a thinner version of this specification.

I'm stubborn, so I used to think, "Borders? Agnès and Saint James are both super heavy ounce, so borders must be heavy ounce!!!" and used thick fabric.

However, when I saw TCB Inoue-kun wearing a short-sleeved border T-shirt looking cool even in summer, I thought, "That's nice~".
That's right, 6 oz. is the thickness of a regular T-shirt. You can wear it alone in mid-summer.

I thought about the colors and came up with the idea of "a tricolor with a different color neck from the body."
I thought, "Okay, let's do some market research!" and went to see the global U and Japanese M, but... there were no binder (ribbed) border T-shirts at all. Most of them were "attached collars," which are self-stitched + stitches around the neck. Attached collars make it easier for the "head to stretch and fit the neck." For binders, you have to consider the stretch and shrinkage of the fabric, and then draw patterns for the neck, sample it, draw patterns again, sample it again....

WORKERS hasn't changed its fabric year after year for the past few years, so the binder's dimensions have become very stable, thanks to this "repeated sampling." (Also, thanks to the fabric and sewing companies that produce fabrics with stable physical properties.)

The market research was a dud, so I went all out with my personal taste in color selection, and this is what happened. Too many colors!
My third-rate merchandising skills are on display again. My feelings take precedence over merchandising.

The name is WORKERS' trademark, a cat patch & cat print name.
This year again, it's custom-made by Okada Name-san, the father of Okayama. Since the thickness has been reduced, it's easier to use as an inner layer. In early spring, you can wear it under a denim jacket or coverall.

What I like is wearing a long-sleeved T-shirt under a button-down or band collar shirt and using the shirt like a jacket.
I think it would also go well with this season's swing top.

The above is reprinted from the official WORKERS website

The fabric is thin, smooth, and comfortable. It's a piece that will keep you cool even in mid-summer. It has a relaxed silhouette.
