When we made Storm Cat's Drive, we were told, "Please make one without the back!"
I've received a lot of messages like this, but actually, this is a Cat's Drive Jacket without a blanket that I made before the one with a lining.

To explain the reason, I thought it would be easier to pursue the silhouette if I first solidified my ideal without lining when creating the pattern, and then developed it with lining. This is also because I started from the same state with the lined models up until now.

So, like butterbur sprouts waiting for the snow to melt, I was eagerly looking forward to the day of the announcement. By the way, in Kojima, a normal denim jacket without a lining is called "hitoe" (one-layer). However, a jacket with a blanket attached is not called "futae".

Usually, after a product is released, I think to myself, "If there's a size available, I'll try it on," and my salesman mentality kicks in, but I really like the Cat's Drive series this time, so for the first time, I got ahead and tried on the sample before the product was released.

To be honest, looking back on my jeans journey, I can hardly remember a time when I wore left-hand twill jeans, but it's precisely because I don't remember that that's when I want to experience it. I liken the words of my favorite Steve Jobs, "connecting the dots," to the fading of jeans, and I hope that the fading that occurs in lines, rather than dots, that are characteristic of left-hand twill jeans, will become "connected lines," and add color to the lives of all denimheads.

□ Regarding the fabric, this is the same fabric as the Storm Cats Drive Jacket & Cats Drive Jeans released at the end of last year. The Cat Boy we made at TCB before was a model from the late 1930s when it was still right-hand twill. The outer fabric this time is a 14.6oz fabric that reproduces the Vintage Lee 101 from the end of the war. It is a 3*1 left-hand twill, which can be called The Lee. It is made of EMOT cotton, a blend of cotton grown in East Memphiz, New Orleans, and Texas, with a warp count of 5.7 and a weft count of 6.7. The blue color unique to Lee and the look of the left-hand twill warp threads running through it give it a nice atmosphere.

Even though it is left-hand twill, it is stiff and has a tight, tapered silhouette.

Trying on at the store

In-store try-ons are offered as a service to customers who are considering purchasing from our store.

Please refrain from trying on items solely for the purpose of size confirmation.

Items such as cut-and-sew garments, which are prone to stretching, cannot be tried on. Exchanges after trying on at home post-purchase are also not accepted.

Please also refrain from trying on belts, as they tend to stretch. For length confirmation, please bring a belt you are currently using.

For leather boots and sandals, try-ons are also offered on the premise of purchase. Please try them on during the final confirmation stage. When trying on, please be careful not to cause wrinkles. Please be sure to bring your own socks.
