Autumn/Winter 2012. WORKERS' sophisticated negotiation techniques led to the miraculous production of this 6-pocket jacket.
You might think I'm exaggerating, but the pants factory I'm currently using basically specializes in jeans, chinos, and bakers.
6. When we try to get pockets sewn, "side pockets" are tricky. Since the process is different from the usual production process, it is difficult to secure the manpower for this.
No, we can sew them, but the difficulty is making them at a price that is profitable for the factory, i.e. a price that is affordable when the product is made.
We negotiated and tried to make it profitable by doing this and that, and through trial and error we were able to manufacture it. And now that the M-65 is in production, "Spring is dawn"... no, "Spring is fatigue."
The construction is almost the same as the original disassembled one.
That's not possible, so let me explain.
The original has another small pocket inside the side pocket, but I removed it. I'm sure the factory would get angry if I said "7 pockets". If you want to look just like the real thing, please buy the real thing or Buzz Rickson's.
But the silhouette is really the same because it was taken from a used deadstock garment. The fabric is just under 6 ounces poplin.
A plain weave fabric with a crisp, firm texture. The width of the fabric is narrow and more meters are required per garment, meaning the list price is higher, but it feels the closest to the original in comparison.
This will be delivered unwashed.
When tested after washing and drying in the sun, there was minimal shrinkage.
When choosing a size, choose one that is not too tight. There is an adjustment buckle at the waist, so you can tighten it up when wearing it.
The above is reprinted from the WORKERS website.
It's thinner than the M65, but a little thicker than the TCB Tropical. Since it has lots of pockets, it's better to have a lighter body.
