The crown is a 6-panel round design with no brim and a knit rib that goes all the way around the waist.
Originally a hat worn as a uniform by Irish fishermen, this hat has been redesigned with a notch in the center back to make it easier to wear and the earmuffs removed so that it can be worn regardless of the season.

The crown fabric is made of ombre check cotton with milled knit ribbing.

The size is free size and can be adjusted with the original brass buckle at the back center. (People up to 56cm-62cm can wear it comfortably.)
