This fluffy fleece knit is made on an old-fashioned hanging knitting machine. It is considered a very inefficient machine that can only produce 10m (enough for 8 garments) per day, and it has a texture that cannot be replicated with modern equipment.

60s PRINT MEDIUM HOODED PARKA
Old-style hanging knitting machines are originally used to produce fluffy fleece like hand-knitted fabrics. By customizing and devising this knitting machine itself, various textures can be obtained, but this S204/LPL series is knitted as it is with "original fluffy hanging fleece". As a design, it is medium weight because the thickness and softness are in between the knits that can be produced. The LPL series is soft and fluffy and comfortable. It is not too thick and can be worn under a denim jacket, coveralls, or coat.
It's a classic college design.
